Didn't receive any notification/reminders

Hi @level101 , the reminders will send out notifications for tasks with due date that were set several minutes before. For example, at 22:45 you set a task to have a due date at 22:50. The system will definitely fire a notification to you. However, if you only allow our system a couple of minutes/seconds to set up the notification, chances are the notification will not be notified.

The reason why we don't allow immediate notification is that Quire server can get really overwhelmed and the overall performance will get slow down.

@peggy looks like problem only with my account. I setup another account and notification works fine. But on my account and web app I didn't receive any notifications.

Hi @level101 , for the account that didn't receive any notification, there might be a possibility that you have set a due time to a task that doesn't have an assignee. If this task was created by you, we should have sent out a notification to you. If the task was created by another member, he/she will get the notification.

Hi Peggy, thank you for your reply. I tried different time. Few mins, 10 mins, few hours, or a day. No notifications at all.

On another account the similar problem. I received only one notification from three.

I wonder if it would be a good idea to restrict the ability to set a time under 10min into the future?

This might fix a lot of confusion.

I was having the same issues and was told that Quire will not give us notifications for tasks less than 5min into the future. But my experience has been more like 24 hours.

Basically, we are not to expect to get reminders until at least a day into the future.
