Also, it should be possible to apply these globally ie across organisations

Hi @charles-20 , making the tags global across different Organizations isn't in our current plan. Thank you for your feedback.

@joshuarobison.biz Indeed - there is also a workaround to transfer these tags across organisations. Create a task "Tag Transfer" in a project in Org A and tag all GTD tags. Now transfer this to a project in Org B and keep check box ticked for transfer tags to project
