#2822: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

My suggestions to fix these issues on Android:

  • When filtering, keep, the highlighted search result in view
  • When searching, add a "Find in Project list button"

My detailed story: On desktop when you search for something, you see that item highlighted in green, then you click "filter" and it leaves your highlighted search result in green. BUT when you are on Android, and your list is equally long, like 100+ items, etc., you search for something and (you click on it and it opens it the panel and it is not obvious that you need to press the top back button to see the item in the project list because if you press the android back button it sends you to the search result list which is super confusing!) Anyways so you finally see the same item is highlighted in green and then you click "filter" by date, for example, then it sends you all the way back to the top and you have to search all over again!

The reason why I am changing my filter is because I want to change the order that my tasks are in. And you can't change the task order in filtered mode.

Hi @yeskindofday , I'm afraid I won't be able to give you a certain answer. However, I will pass this to the team and we will enhance our search UI for our mobile app. Thanks again.

Hi @yeskindofday , thank you for your feedback. Being able to drag and drop to reorder the task list when sorted by date is on our radar. I will bring your suggestion to our team.

@peggy thanks that would help a lot but will the android issue with finding tasks using the search function in the project list be aligned to how the website works?
