I can't get them to work on either desktop or android version. I have set reminders to come "At the time", but nothing happens when the clock hits that date and time.
My email notifications are disabled, but I believe Quire supports native notifications (they appear for Peekaboo tasks). Also, on Desktop, how is the reminder supposed to look?
Yeah, here's a video of an example of browser-based desktop push notifications. https://www.loom.com/share/2f6971efc87f431c92673b84a8301937
I'm sure you've seen it on some websites.
It is useful because Reminders could be pushed that way and would be effective even if the Quire tab isn't active.

Hi @ic , our system will send out notifications for tasks with a due time that were set several minutes before. For example, at 12:00 you set a task to have a due date at 12:05. The system will definitely fire a notification to you.
However, if you only allow our system a couple of minutes/seconds to set up the notification, chances are the notification will not be notified.
The reason why we don't allow immediate notification is that the Quire server can get really overwhelmed and the overall performance will get slow down.

Ok, thanks for the clarification.
About quire desktop: the reminders will come in the form of top-right notifications, on the bell icon?
It seems that browser based, desktop notifications are not used by Quire?

Hi @ic , yes, the reminders come in the form of notifications (bell icon) at the top right corner.
I'm don't quite understand your question here (It seems that browser based, desktop notifications are not used by Quire?). Would you mind providing a screenshot?

Hmmm, now it worked after I put the time a bit farther from current time. Originally I was testing it by setting the reminder 1-2 minutes from the current time, and I didn't get any notifications.
I'll use the feature more and write if I have problems. I considered deleting the thread, but I'll keep it for now.

Hi @ic , you can install the Quire chrome extension. It will send out browser-based notifications even if you not viewing the Quire page. Here's the link: https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/quire/fafnibnpfejgmleffgpnddkboddbipgm?hl=en
