If I paste a Png image directly into the task's description, it is saved as a Jpeg and therefore blurry. (my Png file was a screen capture of an article, and text and sharp details are lost when you save them in a lossy Jpeg format). Png is a lossless format. I recommend saving Png strictly as Png, because that's what the user pasted - such as by using Ctrl+V into the description.
The second problem is that even when I attached the Png file to the task (using the little paperclip icon), it was saved as a Png - but it still displayed wrong when I clicked it. It was larger on the screen than my original image, abour 20% bigger visually. I would attach it here, but it will get "corrupted" again. Simply capture a screenshot of any website, and try.
I would really expect my images to be preserved - they could be shopping receipts, customer agreements, charts, screenshots of high-level details that shouldn't be downgraded/compressed. Maybe that is a PAID feature you'll want to offer - "Keep original image quality". But for now, please don't mess up my images 😃
Hi @alexr , thank you for your feedback!
