#2838: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

... and adding subtasks into the columns inside boards.

Hello there people, humans!

I just found an inconsistency between LIST (TAB) and COLUMNS (TAB), where List with all the tasks is not in columns, but only lines of tasks where I can add subtasks. In columns I can not add subtasks.

My idea is to put names of columns from boards (tab) into the LIST (TAB) where boards (tabs) would look like categories for tasks that are already in columns. That means all tasks that are in the main LIST should be in columns (to-do, in progress, completed) -> To make more clear if the particular task is already in a category (BOARD) as well as have a better overview on TO-DO, IN PROGRESS, COMPLETED in the LIST tab.

Please contact me if it is not clear,

I would like to help and improve - if this can be considered as an improvement. ;-)

Hi @nitram.robits ,

This isn't an inconsistency. Our Board view doesn't act as an mirror view to our List view. (Which means the tasks you added in the list won't be added to the board view automatically.)

You would need to handpick/manually add the tasks into a board. We encourage users to select the crucial tasks (need to be done in a short period of time) and add them to a board, so users could have a visual flow of the tasks' progress.

Adding subtasks in board columns: We don't have a nested-tree structure in the board view. All the tasks added in the board view will be treated as a root task.

Lastly, My idea is to put names of columns from boards (tab) into the LIST (TAB) where boards (tabs) would look like categories for tasks that are already in columns. This had been requested by other users as well. I will bring it to our team again.

Thank you for your feedback!
