First of all, thanks for producing a nice product!
There is one thing that doesn't fit with the way I like to organise my tasks and ideas. When adding a column to a work board it must be given a unique progress level. This doesn't work with the way I think about my work. For example, some tasks may be well defined in which case I put them in a "To-Do" column with progress = 0. But sometimes I want to put down ideas for longer term projects and I want to put that in a column named "project ideas" also with progress = 0 (but it is not allowed to have 2 columns with same progress). Later on, I would break down the project idea into tasks that would eventually make it into the "To-Do" column.
Would you consider allowing non-unique progress values for columns?
thanks,
Chris
Hi @chris.mullen0110 , thank you for your support!
This is our spec. Our board columns are defined by the status progress percentage. This means when you add a task from a list to a board, our system will automatically recognize which status the task is in and place it in the corresponding column.
If a board has two columns with the same progress, we won't know which column the task belongs to when you add the task from the list (using right-click > Add to board). Hope this makes sense.
The workaround would be setting the "Project Ideas" column to 0% and changing the "To-Do" column into 5% (or any other percentages).
