When tasks are not selected, the title is still cut off(otherwise making room for the action icons), making nested tasks less usable on a mobile device. When enough levels down, only the first letter of a task is shown.
In the next example the '|' is the screen border of the mobile device.

Landscape has the same problem given enough levels. 30â„… of the titles is cut off at the right of the screen.

It shall be resolved in our recent version.

Hi Wouter, Got it. We shall give more room for your task names in Quire Mark II (aka Quire 2.0) which is our No.1 priority at the moment and scheduled for the first half of 2017. When it is available, you can give it a go on your mobile device. 😃

Hi Wouter, If you are using Quire on your mobile browser, you can actually rotate to landscape mode to see more of your task names. Let me know if it helps! Fyi, we have released our iOS app and made the Android one our priority. 😃
