Is there a way to view all available tags on the left menu? For instance, it would be neat to see an option named "TAGS" on the left hand menu pane, along with "PROJECTS" and "MY TASKS".
Selecting the "TAGS" menu , would display all tags, sortable as a cloud list, or by name, or by creation date. clicking on a tag would show corresponding tasks in the center task pane. holding down "ctrl" while clicking a second tag would further filter the list by tasks that have both selected tags.
... just a thought.
Hey Crystal, my apologies for the extremely long delay in replying.
The purpose of having a whole menu dedicated to tags is because the way I sort "tasks" and think about tasks is not only in mutually exclusive lists organized by Co/Project/Task.
Instead my tasks appear in many places at once: Location + Person or Co. + Project.
Of course this does NOT mean the Co/Project/Task/Subtask is not needed! I love the way you have -TaskA
- - TaskA1
- - TaskA2...
Still, I keep trying to find a GTD project management app, and yours so far is my favorite, but it would be easier to use with the GTD methodology if there were a sortable TAG pane.

Hi Matthew, You are welcome! In our upcoming Quire Mark II (aka Quire 2.0), we will have a cross-project view with filter function (eg. sort/filter by tags, date, etc.). Perhaps this would be helpful to you. 😃

Basically, you would like a place to view, sort and manage all your tags in a project? 😃 If so, may I ask why?
At the moment you can find all your tags after you click on "Project options" icon and select "Manage tags".
In the tree list (middle panel), you can simply hover a tag and click on it to filter, so the corresponding tasks will be shown.
You can also go to the filter menu bar, and choose to filter by tags. Perhaps these are good enough?
Again, nice idea on pressing Ctrl for further filter. 😃
