#3087: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

I'm quite often missing the possibility to quickly insert a task above the current one with the keyboard. Especially useful it would be to add a new root task when the cursor is already positioned on the current first (root) task which has children.

@inego - I have passed this on to the team. We will need more time to think about the spec of this.

@peggy Yes, and I would have to press Ctrl+Up as many times as there are children tasks under Task 1. That's why I made this request.

On your first screenshot, what would I have to do if the current line was the first one (Task 1) and I needed to add Task 0 above Task 1?

@inego - you would have to create a Task 0 first, then use the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + to move it to the top. 😭

@inego - you can add a task above the task that you currently inspecting first, then use Ctrl + (or Alt + for Mac) to move the task levels up. Hope this helps.
