Any member with appropriate rights can change the subscribers of a task or an entire list. So if I subscribe to a task for myself to stay informed and someone else changes it, I don't notice it. So I would miss important information or changes.

@egs2003 - thank you for your feedback. Our current spec: project's Admin and Normal members have the right to add or remove followers of the task/project.
On the hand, when an admin/normal member removes you from following a certain task, you won't be notified or the action won't be recorded in the task activity. This may cause missing information (like what you have encountered.) I have passed your problem to our team. We will let you know when we have update information. Thank you again.
