#319: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved Obsolete

Hello, I love Quire, but ran across another productivity app that appears to have a better layout than quire. Quire has amazing simplicity in adding and tagging tasks. It also has amazing flexibility in adding projects, tasks, attachments, comments, tags, filters, etc.

Despite all those positives, the left hand menu is clunky. Could you incorporate the GTD (get things done) methodology to the left hand menu instead of the Organization/Project/Task hierarchy?

It seems quire.io has the backbone to impelment a GTD user interface. Would be amazing if you were able to do it! Just my $0.02. Thanks!

Hi Matthew, Thank you for your $0.02! We will let you add your own preferred categories/folders (eg. you can name them Inbox or Work) in the sidebar (aka the left-hand menu), in addition to the default ones like Favorite and Recent. We will also have the "subproject" feature where in each project, they can act as sections/folders (eg. name them Home or Waiting) for your tasks. Perhaps these will help you do things the GTD way. 😃
