Strategy: Get rid of Projects and treat every (parent-)task as an Project

A project is just the starting point of a view. Each time, I look at a sublist, I have a project. I could share every sublist (like every google sub-folder) to someone and for the other one this sublist (=subfolder) becomes a project in his project overview (just as a google folder in the shared with me view).

By doing so, the same reports, rights and roles for projects could be applied to every (parent-)task.

Quire started out without the stupid layers as trello, asana, clickup and all the others: workspace, spaces, folders, lists, tasks, checklists. Maybe it is not necessary to implement Smart Folders (but shared folders) just as google drive is doing.

@philipp.stein - thank you for your feedback. This is a unique approach, however, it's quite distinctive and different than the hierarchy and structure that we have now. We thank you for your amazing idea, but we are afraid we are unlikely to implement this. 😭
