Since i’ve been using the new 2020 iPad Magic Keyboard, whenever i need to use a “``”, “accent”, in Spanish or Catalan (my languages), Quire mistype the word, adding a ` between letters. For instance, if i need to type the word “canci´ón”, (Song in Spanish), the symbol, between the “i” and the “o”, shoudn’t be there.
I’ve been trying setting up difernt languages on the iPad, Keyboards,..., but everyhing is fine on all the other apps, but not with Quire.
Can you guys check it ou? It’s really anoying since i have to type with no “accentuation”, and on my languages it’s really weird... :S

But yes, using browser, the “accent” thing it’s OK... are you guys planning on updating the Ipad version anytime soon?

@oriolmayordomo - thank you for your feedback. I'm sorry I don't speak Spanish, so I'm exactly sure how to type an accent using a keyboard. After doing some Googling, I found out: to type an accent on a Mac keyboard, you would need to hit option+ E first, then the character (in this case, o), then it will make ó.
At this moment, Quire is best utilize on a browser for an iPad. Please try with a browser.

On Spanish Keyboard, Peggy, if you hit OPTION + E, you get an “€” symbol...so i do not get what you are saying...

Any update on this issue? Rhis is really annoyijg since we cannot work on Quire using our iPads/Keyboards and we are looking for another Task solution.

@oriolmayordomo - the accent issue in app is caused by Flutter. We will need to wait for them to handle/support it first, in order for us to fix it in the Quire app. We will keep an eye on it and let you know if there are any updates from Flutter.

This issue was caused by Flutter and we have already informed them about this issue, but still didn't get any responses from them. We are still waiting for their update, so our team can go on and fix it on our end. We will continue to keep eyes on it.
