Thanks for getting back to me @Peggy. I figured this out as I was writing a more detailed post, but failed to realize deleting the content didn't delete the entry. Great product!

@CBroz - please note that the Android widget will not update itself. You have to tap on the refresh icon at the upper right corner of the widget.
