Hello there,

When I add items through the Android App, the web version doesn't sync them up. Sync works fine for deletion or modification of items.

I'm using the latest version of the Android App. I tried removing and reinstalling but I still experience the issue.

@acicovic - I'm glad that you have found the answer to the question.

FYI, when adding a new task in Smart Folder on your mobile app, by tapping on the green add button at the lower right corner, the newly created task will be added to the project same as the task that is closest to the top bar.

Or you can slide left on a task to add a new task/subtask right underneath, this way that task will be in the same project as that task. Hope this make sense. I have attached a screen recording to help my explanation.

OK, mystery solved.

I have a smart folder called "Everything" to track all my projects in a single view ordered by due date. I don't know if this is a good way but it was the only one I found when moved to Quire as "My Tasks" shows only tasks assigned to me, but I want to also monitor tasks assigned to others.

When I add an item in the web app by pressing enter, Quire assigns the project automatically by looking at the item's project I pressed enter on.

This of course doesn't happen with the Android app, so the item is not assigned to the project and thus doesn't appear on my view in the web app. Thus it seemed like the item was not added.

Maybe there's a better way to structure my workflow.

@acicovic - unfortunately, we weren't able to reproduce this issue on our side. 😭

Could you please check the below for us? Kindly let us know the results. Thank you for your help!

  1. The app has internet connection this all time.
  2. After you have added the new tasks to a project, please search for the task in that same project on the web version.
  3. Please try with another browser and see if the task appears there. Kindly let us know which browser you used that doesn't update.
