Blog loading time

Images in blog have very good quality and loading of them takes time which have, in my opinion, bad impact on UX. Maybe one of the following options will fit this issue:

• Hide images before the'll be loaded fully
• Make some placeholder for them
• Load same image with lower resolution and then replace it with hq (on load finish)

What's your thoughts about that? P.S. Thanks for the awesome tool!
