I love the idea, but working with absolute dates is, sometimes, unrealistic. In my opinion, you should take into consideration adding "duration" (relative dates), so, I can organize a stream of tasks.
For example, I cannot start to format an article, until the writer sends me the content. And sometimes, the writer has to wait a day longer. So, you have to manually add one day to all child tasks.
@Uquire-183 - Maybe having "custom fields" can be a solution to your request? You can then fill in how long the task takes, rather than assigning a due date to the task. What do you think?
