Recurring tasks completed overdue skip to the next ocurrence

Sometimes, recurring tasks that I have for the day are not possible to be completed before the day ends. They are sent to the 'Overdue' section as they should. If I complete them overdue, the recurring system assumes the due date of the task was when it was completed and skips to the next occurrence. This forces me to manually set the date back one day to the correct due date...Only for the same issue to happen the next time I complete a task overdue. The due dates of recurring tasks should be independent from when you complete the task. Completing a task overdue doesn't necessarily mean you're completing the next day's recurrence of the same task, but rather you completed the task after it "expired" and they should pile on instead of skipping to the next one unless desired by means of an option you can set when setting the recurring task.
