Hi @NicoS - At the moment, you would need to add the tasks to a board first. Then in the board, you can create a new status (for example, On Hold, Stand by, etc.)

And in the List view, when you right click to set a status to the task (that had been added to the board), you will be able to see the newly created statuses. Hope this helps.
