If you have a long task list, a task that was peekabooed a while ago will reshow a long way down the task list and may not be noticed.
I would like an option for reshown peekaboo tasks to follow the project setting for where new tasks appear; at the top, or at the bottom.
this behavior aligns with how other "snooze" type features are implemented, e.g. in Gmail, an email that is snoozed and then reappears will appear at the top of the inbox.
Thanks!
Hi @yozza0 - As it stands, the reshow task should appear at its original location. Please let us know if it doesn't. Thank you.

Hi @yozza0 - Thank you for your explanation. However, we think the peekaboo should reshow at its original location. Since our list is a tree-like view, the task might lose its context if it reappears at the top or bottom of the list. Hope this make sense.
I will let our team know about this feature request first and I will keep an eye in this forum to see if other users have similar requests. Thank you again.

Thanks @peggy
That makes total sense for sub tasks, agree it would be bad if they lost context.
but for "root" tasks this wouldn't be an issue.
This wouldn't always be appropriate though, hence my suggestion for an option.

Hi Yozza - Sure I got it! I will bring it to the team and keep you posted if we have any updates or concerns after internal discussion.

Hi @peggy, yes that is the behavior that I'm seeing.
However, as per above, this often means I don't notice the task when it reshows as I have many new tasks above it!
an option to allow for reshown peekaboo tasks to follow the project setting for where new tasks appear; at the top, or at the bottom, would be great 😃
