Imagine a recurring task like a meeting happening on 3 days each week (mon/wen/fri). If I plan this using a recurring task, I can only see one upcoming instance (the next one). In some cases it's useful to see more upcoming instances, e.g. the meetings for the next two weeks. Maybe you could implement a configurable preview period for recurring tasks?
