When a new task is created, Quire creates a unique ID which is visible in Advanced mode.
However, it will be nice if there is any option (like markdown) to always display the number along with text.
Example: [{TaskID} :] Option to show taks ID as a part of task name.
The above will display (if ID=1234)
[1234:] Option to show taks ID as a part of task name.
Hi @Uquire-047 - Thank you for your feedback.
May I ask the reason why you would like the task#ID to show at such a noticeable place? 🤔 We hide the task#ID in the Advanced mode because we feel like it might be a distraction. We would like to know your use case for this feature request. Thanks.

TaskID's are great to manage uniqueness. We use this while creating a GIT branch (branch name starts with TaskID)
Someone needs to explicitly ensure advanced mode is enabled and can get disabled due to ctrl / alt key long press.

Hi @Uquire-047 - Thank you for explaining your use case for us. I'm sorry to say that this won't be in consideration. We have hidden the task #ID in Advanced mode on purpose since we feel like it might be a distraction for most users.
A quick tip: You can easily toggle on and off the Advanced mode by hitting
Ctrlfor Windows orAltfor Mac. Thanks again for your feedback.Peggy, Dec 1, 2020
