The Hit List allows me to create very sophisticated sets of to dos with the use of boolean searches across my todos.
I'm able to create folders that show me everything I need to do today that hasn't been deferred, isn't part of my excluded folders (like my folders for "ideas" and "archived tasks" and so forth), and is part of my current focus area of tasks (like "work" as opposed to "life"). It is an extremely powerful tool and if Quire had this, along with defer/start dates, I would switch over immediately, full time.
Thanks!

Hi Ben, Yes, you got my point. 👍

Hi Ben, The smart folder sounds like an interesting idea, please let us think about it! 😃 By the way, in our upcoming Quire 2.0, we will introduce the so-called "cross-project". For example, when you click on cross-project Work in the sidebar, you will be able to see all tasks from projects Work A, Work B and Work C in the main panel, and sort by Date and filter by assigned to me. Think it would help?

I'm not really sure what you are saying here.
Do you mean that I could select Project A and Project D and thereby see only work from those two projects (with Projects B and C being excluded?)?
This is similar to the functionality of Omnioutliner Pro. And it would definitely be nice.
