As you are aware, Gmail has a specific web address for every single email, eg. https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#all/KtbxLrjRjRSsXDDXXXTjMzKgjKrCGzWzvq
Usually, when I create a task related to email, I just copy the link from the address bar and pace it into Task Description, like above.
Would be great if:
this would be paste automatically (or have a checkbox option: Iclude email link? Yes/No)
even better would be, if this link is stored separate field eg. 'Attached Links', similar to 'Attached Files' field.
I would allow for more links as you can connect also relative (or broken) gmail conversation (eg. when someone creates a new email instead of Reply or CRM systems also tend to break conversation).
If it should be tweaked to perfection, Quire would have the email pop-up overview (not sure if Gmail has API for embedded email message view, of course it would take you to gmail login first)
If the link is opened on Quire Android/Iphone app, then the message should be natively opened in the app instead of web browser.
Gmail + Google Tasks seems to deal with this in the same way.
Hi @Aotea_Zen_Villas_Wellington_New_Zealand - Thank you for your feedback. I will pass your request internally to our team and keep you posted if I get an update.

Hi @Aotea_Zen_Villas_Wellington_New_Zealand - We have made an enhancement regarding this feature request.
Right now, when you add a task from Gmail Add-on, the email link will automatically be pasted at the bottom of the task description. Please let me know if there's any questions. Thank you!
