Is there a way to have a main task repeat but NOT the sub task. I basically have a task each day for “Contact 5 new clients” and each night I add new clients as needed to prefix my targets for the next day. Here’s how this would look in Todoist.

So I can complete the main task after I’ve checked off at least 5 new contacts. But I don’t want the completed from the sub tasks to “uncomplete”.
The only other way I can think is to use the markdown checkbox but frankly that just takes me too long to create.
Any setting I missed here?

Ok. But that is actually opposite of the scenario. I want the incomplete sub tasks to stay incomplete. Another way around this would be if there was a toggle to have a task not become “overdue” but appear every day.

Hi @Nick_Nicolaysen - Thank you for your feedback.
At the moment, this couldn't be done in Quire. When you complete a parent task, all its subtasks will get completed as well. As we assume all the subtasks needs to be done before you tick off a parent task.
As a workaround, like what was mentioned above, you can create a checklist in the task description using markdown.
I will let our team know about your use case and example. Thank you again.
