#4012: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Open Quire in PWA-mode
  2. Open list (current filter is "All tasks"), set filter to "Active Tasks"
  3. Reload page (cmd+r)

Expected behaviour: Filter is "Active Tasks"

Actual behaviour: Filter is "All Tasks"

Additional info: As I can recall, it started when I changed filter to All Tasks and work with list a little. Also, described behaviour constantly happened in PWA-mode only (Chrome 88), then the issue was fixed since I opened Quire in usual browser tab and switched filters forth and back.

Hi @glebsam - Sorry for the late reply. I have passed this issue to our Developer team, when it's fixed, I will let you know. Thank you for your patience.

Hi @glebsam - Thank you for your update. After looking into this issue, this is actually our spec.

When in the All Tasks filter, if you are inspecting a completed task, our system will remember the inspected task even if you switch to the Active Tasks filter and reload the page.

Meaning that after you reload the page, in order for the inspected completed task to show, our system will switch back to All Tasks. I hope this make sense.

Please try:

  1. Current filter: All Tasks
  2. Change the filter to Active Tasks
  3. Select/inspect an uncompleted task (active task)
  4. Refresh your page
  5. It should stay at Active Tasks

Update: I can reproduce it now, even in browser tab. So, the issue is not only about PWA-mode 😞

Thank you, now I understand. It is definitely convenient and consistent and honestly I do not know how to make it better.
