This is a total sci-fi feature request. I know. But believe me, it would be a fantastic addition to the already excellent feature set.
Just let all tasks be plain markdown files on a filesystem somewhere. even if it's just on gdrive (which you integrate with).
Once tasks are files, you can version control them; you can diff them. You can do lots of things. You could do find and replace. You could edit markdown in a proper editor, with all the comfort.
Most tech people I know live in an editor anyway. They would be extremely happy if this existed.
How do you keep things like links between tasks? Use file:/// links. How do you keep tags? Markdown has provisions for this.
Dropbox was the closest thing to this Nirvana with their 'Paper'. They managed to miss the mark : paper files are not plain text, not markdown. Not versionable. Not diffable.
I'm pretty sure this will never happen. And the space for this type of app will forever remain free in the market.
Hi @joseq - Thank you for your feedback. I'm afraid this kind of function is not in our roadmap. However, I will pass your suggestion to our team and let them know about your use case.
