I like the new TimeLine view, I think it serves very well for a larger period overview and planning. I would like to add my thought to this feedback: #2270 When I click on the "Day" button in TimeLine view, I would expect to see a whole day period, from 00:00 to 24:00 ( or custom time range, e.g., 07:00-23:00). I would also expect that in this "Single Day" view I could modify by mouse-dragging the task start and end times. This would be ideal for organizing tasks inside one single day, set the order and length for them.
Right now I think the names are wrong for the TimeLine.
- "Day" shows 14-19 days, which means this is rather the "Week" or "Fortnight (Two Weeks)" display.
- "Week" shows more than a month so it is actually a "Month" view.
- "Month" view shows about 3 months os it is a "Quarter Year" view.
- "Year" is fine, it shows about 12 months on screen.

As far as I know, it's not in our current plan to implement a hour scale into our Timeline view. This feature might be available when we have a native calendar view in the future. It will display tasks in a "hour scale or single day view". However, I will still pass your suggestions to our team for more discussion and keep you updated when I have news from the team.
