I want to be able to chart out all my work for the long term, but on a day to day basis I just want a to do list of actionable tasks.
An example might make this clearer. Here's an outline for getting dressed before going outside.
-Go outside -- Put on Pants --- Put on Underwear --- Select Pants -- Put on Shirt --- Select Shirt ---- Check Weather/temperature -- Put on Shoes --- Put on socks --- Select shoes
Let's say for this example a person is standing in their underwear with a chosen shirt in hand, and they need to know what's still on the to do list. The list should look like:
Select Pants Put on Shirt Put on Socks Select Shoes
The view hides completed tasks and hides tasks which should not be started yet. You don't put your shoes on before your socks, you can't put pants on if you haven't selected which ones to wear, so you don't show those tasks. Otherwise every task, no matter which level, if it can be done right now, should be displayed.
Hi Christo,
We totally understand why you would need this feature to better organize your task list! However, at the moment, you cannot make it happen on Quire yet!
May I suggest you a workaround to collapse the subtasks instead? Not the ideal solution, I understand, but maybe this workaround might be good for the moment?
