#4220: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Bugs Resolved

There may be a lot of factors here, so I'll just list all of them.

  1. Change the status named To-Do to Planned
  2. Make a filter on a list for Planned, Sort by Date - save it and call it Planned
  3. (unknown, time passes, using both mobile app for Android, and web app)
  4. Come back to either mobile app or web app, and the filter does not apply the Planned Status or Sort by Date - It just shows all tasks.

Furthermore, some of these filters cannot be deleted on mobile. There could be any number of weird edge cases here to test. The name of the filter does not seem to matter, as I can get that same behavior in a day or two from any named filter.

Hi @Adam_Edison - This issue has been fixed in the newest version update (version 6.10). Please update your Quire app and kindly let us know if the issue persists.

To play it safe, I would suggest you delete the already saved custom filters on the web browser first and let them re-sync to the mobile app. Then continue to add the filters back. It should sync between two devices this time. Thanks for your help!

This may be related to another observation which is that filters created in the mobile app may not show in the webapp - the app seems to be operating from bad cache. Clearing the data on the android app removed the stale filters. Will see if filtering a single view produces the same problem again.

The issue returns with normal usage over time. Seems to get worse when switching between sublists.

@peggy Thanks. As another data point, using the URL with proper query parameters is a (painful) workaround for me, that I discovered. So at least the URL API is good.

@Adam_Edison I have also read the other feedback thread with the related issue. I'm really sorry for the inconvenience caused! I have shared the information with our team. We will look into it and I will get back to you as soon as I have an update. Thank you for your patience.
