#4223: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do
Tag: Bugs Integration

I've only recently started using Quire and am really enjoying it, but I'm having some trouble with the Github integration.

Currently the way to associate Quire tasks with a github commit is to include "# {task id}" in the commit message, however, this is the same formatting that github automatically creates for commit messages for merged pull requests. As a result, every time we merge a pull request and a commit with a message such as "Merged pull request # 3" is generated, quire is adding a comment to a totally unrelated task (task # 3 in this case, which had nothing to do with the pull request) and I have to manually delete these every time. It seems like the integration needs to be changed to use a symbol other than # to not conflict with githubs pull requests.
