#4410: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

While I do find the Android widget integration quite decent despite some drawbacks, I find annoying that you can't select which list or sub-list you want to see. A good suggestion for improved workflow would be allowing the user to decide if the widget should refer to the main list or a sub-list. That way, one could have multiple widgets across one or more home screens with different views or filtering.

One example of that would be how I use my Quire master list: 1 - A Master List with tasks on a to-do format, meant for things like ordinary quick chores, daily routine tasks and so on. 2 - A Kanban sub-list with art projects, since this system works better for this kind of projects IMO. Projects in this list are filtered out of the Master List by appropriate tags and a custom filter. Ditto for other tasks that don't fit this criteria. 3 - A "loose" sub-list for ideas. These tasks are never assigned to me or transferred from this list unless the idea turns into a tasks or project of some description. Much like the art projects list, this list is filtered out of the main task list.

By having multiple widgets, one could potentially visualize separate views of the same list better. The way things are set out currently, one has to manually go to each sub-list. On the app, this tasks is slower, since it doesn't open on the main list all the time or the other views don't actually load.
