#4480: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Resolved

In my pretty long list of tasks (450), I frequently switch between two views:

  • active tasks (grouped by date)
  • filter on one tag (that gets added to new tasks coming from GitLab)

When I’m working on the filtered view (usually on very recent tasks), and I switch back to the "active tasks" view, Quire stays on the selected task, which happens to be all the way down the "Unplanned" section. I then have to scroll from the very bottom of the list up to the very top, in order to see the "Late" and "Today" tasks.

A button allowing me to instantly "Scroll to top" would be great 😃 Or another solution I didn’t think about!

That's something new I learnt today! Thanks!

Can something like this be added for Android/iOS? It is really a pain just to scroll 2K issues down

Hi Monish - On the mobile app, you can tap on the top bar, the blank space right above the project name to jump the to the top of the list.

Just wanted to mention that I’m dragging the scrollbar "thumb" to get to the top of the list, but it can be quite small with a very large list (like this one right here!).

Hi Sylvain - You can use the keyboard shortcut for this case: Ctrl + . It will jump to the first task of the list. I hope this helps.

Hi Peggy, I didn’t manage to do it with Ctrl+↑ but I just realized it works great simply with the Home (↖) key. Not sure why I didn’t think of this! 😃
