Monthly/quarterly/yearly date options on assigning dates to tasks

Is it possible for you guys to add monthly/quarterly/yearly date options for task deadlines? Very often, I won't have an exact date that I need a task done, only vague time-frames. I also frequently have a set of things I want to accomplish in this month, from which I regularly shunt unfinished items to the next time period. Quarterly/Monthly date options would greatly streamline that process as well as align my timeline with business schedules.
