I'm using Quire in Chrome on a Mac. It's cognitively (and physically for some people) burdensome to use the mouse and keyboard to enter tasks. Ideally, when entering a new task, one ought to be able to add any attribute to the task without lifting one's' hands from the keyboard. In particular, you're missing the ability to add start dates and recurrence information via the keyboard when entering a new task. Such interfaces do exist (e.g., in RTM), and they can very drastically improve the speed and decrease the friction to quickly and efficiently enter tasks.
Hi Filippo - Thank you for your feedback. At the moment, we only support inline setting start and due dates to tasks.
Type <04/30;05/05>, the task will have a start date of April 30th and a due date of May 5th.
As for recurring task, you would still need to set it through the date picker using the mouse for now. I will let our team know about your feedback.

I agree this would be a very helpful feature. I would think a hotkey to pull up the date-picker would be minimally challenging to code.

Hi Will - You can try to use the keyboard shortcut <. When a task is inspected/selected, hit the < key, then the date picker will appear. I hope this helps.

Okay, now I understand. I had seen that on the keyboard shortcut list but never got it to work because it appeared to be the left arrow key. It's in fact the "shift + comma" "less than" sign for anyone reading this. And it doesn't work inline while typing a task, you have to hit enter first. Thanks @peggy!
