Android "Add Task" usability enhancements

I love the ability to Add Tasks directly from the home screen on my Android phone. I had 2 small usability requests: (1) when the task input UI comes up, it would be nice to have the keyboard pop up immediately, rather than have to tap in the text field to get it to appear, and (2) when I currently tap the text field to bring up the keyboard, the shift key defaults to not pressed (i.e. text is lower case unless I press shift key). Purpose of both of these enhancements would be to reduce the number of touches and speed up the efficiency to get tasks into the app.
