I am comparing Quire with TimeHero (https://www.timehero.com/tour), which seems to let me set time estimates for projects or tasks and appears to schedule it into my calendar, or at least make it easy to do so: is this possible in Quire? So far I like the intuitive feel of Quire, but I want to check its right for me before committing.
Hi Titus - At the moment, you won't able to record spent on each task or set time estimates in Quire. However, it's in our consideration to have 'Time Tracking' and 'Custom Fields' feature for our future enhancements. Once those are implemented in the future, you might be able to achieve what you have mentioned above. We will keep you posted if we have any updates regarding both features. Thanks!

You can set deadlines or durations for tasks, and visualize the tasks (or move them) in the timeline view. I have not tried TimeHero, but I moved here from meistertask (https://www.meistertask.com/) I would suggest you to play around with Quire, until you get satisfied and be able to decide whichever the best option for you.
