Moving a task with Ctrl+arrow keys

Hi, I often move a task up or down through the list using Ctrl+arrow keys. This works fine until I get to the top or the bottom of the view. I would then expect the view to scroll so that the task I'm moving stays visible. What actually happens is that the view scrolls in the opposite direction and the task goes out of view. I guess I could use the mouse, but it's cumbersome because I need to move one step at a time.
