I've tested out how changes are reflected between 2 members working on the same project, and it works amazingly well! Just few seconds delay between most updates, some faster!
The main thing that is missing is there is no indicator that a new comment has been added to a task. I think the orange dot should appear next to all tasks with unread comments. (I do see the comment icon in Advanced mode with count, but it doesn't help identify new comments)
The ability to assign individual comments to a member, and only then show the orange dot would also work.
This can be added as an extra Project Option that can be toggled On/Off.
Another alternative would be to change the color of the comments count icon and make it bold when there is an UNREAD comment. (When not in Advanced mode, only show icon when it's orange, then hide)

Hi Serge - Thank you for your feedback.
Currently, when there is a new comment added to a task, the orange dot will appear next to the task name. However, for the orange dot to appear (all the times when there's a modification made to a task), you will need to follow the task.
I would suggest you to follow the entire project instead, this way, you won't miss any updates made from the other team member.

I hope this helps with your problem.
Meanwhile, I will bring your suggestion to our team for more discussion. Thanks!

Hi Peggy, I tried this method, and it seems to show an orange dot after making the 1st comment. But making additional comments doesn't show an orange dot to the other user...
Tried a few times, user#1 making 2nd comment, and user#2 making 2nd comment, in both cases, the other user doesn't get the orange dot.

Hi Serge - The orange dot will appear next to the task names and the new comments that are unread. I have tried to reproduce this issue on my end and the orange dot does appear for unread comments that other team members have left me.
Could you please kindly sent us a screen recording for the issue of the orange dot is not showing when other member leaves you a comment to support@quire.io? This way our team can know what might be happening. Thanks for your help!
