I could not figure out how to tell Quire not to markdown a long number as a phone number. In this case the number I am entering is a reference number that has no relationship what-so-ever with a phone. However, quire interprets it as a phone number and it I accidentally click on it (for copying it for instance) my phone tries to dial it. Pretty annoying. Is there a way to say "just ignore this number and do not create a link"?
Hi Ricardo - Thank you for your feedback.
Please try adding a backlash before the numbers or wrapping the numbers with three backticks ``` (a line at the beginning and end of the numbers). If the issue persists, please let us know the format you have entered, I will pass the issue to our engineering team to further investigate.
Right now, if you have type the numbers in the below formats, they will automatically be interprets as phone numbers.
(415) 555-2671
(415)5552671
(415) 555 2671

Dear Peggy, thank you for your reply.
An example of the original problem is this: ABCDEFG_0100000012345678AB
If I add a back slash, I get this: ABCDEFG_\0100000012345678AB (the back slash actually shows up).
The triple backticks produce this: ABCDEFG_
0100000012345678AB.What I was looking for is a method to have the numbers just appearing as numbers. Not a link, not a boxed highlight. More generally a way to tell quire "do not try to guess what I typed, just show this portion text without any markdown". It still beats me why that long sequence is interpreted as a phone number.
