Can attached documents be viewed directly on the screen? It appears that they must be downloaded to be viewed. Direct screen viewing with admin granting permission to download would be preferred.

Hi - We support previewing attached PDF files and images. If the files or images were attached from Google Drive, only the files that are shared with 'Anyone with link' can be previewed in Quire. I hope I have answered your question. Thanks.
