I'm not quite sure if I understand the "since latest completion" checkbox in the recurring task. If the case is:
- I have a task due at 15 July. (Overdue)
- The task is set to custom, every 1 day, without the "since latest completion".
- Completed it at 17 July. (Today)
Will the new task be created due on 16 July (Still Overdue), 17 July (Today) or 18 July (Tomorrow). Does the checkbox have any affect in this situation or does it affect something else?
Right now I'm expecting it to be due at 16 July since I set it every 1 day without the since latest completion option checked. However, what happened was the new task created due on 18 July.
Hi Farrell - The 'since latest completion' option will only be effective towards the task that are not overdue.
Fo example:
- I have a task due at July 21st. (The day after tomorrow)
- The task is set to custom, every 1 day, without the 'since latest completion'
- Completed the task on July 19th. (Today)
- The next recurring task will be set to due on July 22nd.
However, if the option 'since latest completion' is checked, then the next recurring task will be set to due on July 20th (counting from the day I completed the task, which is today July 19th.)
