#4810: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

When creating new tasks from MY TASKS sometimes puts the task under a parent task instead of letting it been a standalone task. Also, sometimes clicking on the +button does nothing.

This is happening on web as well as mobile

Hi Vikramjit - Thank you for your screen recording.

  1. According to the first video (_110637), this isn't a bug. When you swipe right and tap on the + button to create a task, it will be a sibling task to the task you have selected. Which means the newly created task will be at the same level with 'Existing Sub Task 1'.
  2. About the second video (_111439), I have passed this issue to our team and I will keep you posted when it's resolved. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Thanks for your response @peggy . I do understand now.

  1. However, if I wanted to create a standalone task in a particular Project from MY TASKS - How do I go about it? On the web I do get an option to x out the parent task. On mobile there's no such option.
  2. I've also noticed that when I drag the + to create a new task it blanks out the screen.

Hi Vikramjit -

Please see my reply to:

You can tap on the green add button at the lower right corner to add a root task.
