Is it possible to NOT have a default assignee (leave a task unassigned till determined)? Defaulting assignment to creator clutters My Tasks and overwhelms me. :SOS:

Hi Karen - Tasks that fit the below criteria will show up in My Tasks:

  • Tasks created by you, not assigned to others, and with start or due date
  • Task assigned to you
  • Personal tasks (Tasks that are created in My Tasks and don't belong to any projects)

You may also turn off the option for 'Automatically assign new tasks to myself' in the Account Settings. This way, not all the new tasks created will be assigned to you.
