#4879: Quire Feedback
Status: To-do

Hello,

First of all, thanks for Quire!

I have noticed a couple of issues with tags:

  • I seem to have lost the ability to remove tags from a task (recent behavior as far as I can tell)
  • When editing a task from My Tasks and trying to add a tag that already exists in the associated project, the tag is not being recognized (if I proceed anyway, another tag with the same name is created)

Kind regards, Thomas

Hi Thomas - I have tried to reproduce this issue, but I was able to successfully remove the task from the task and also delete the global tag as well.

Please see my screen recording below and kindly let me know if this is the problem you are referring to and if this is not the case, could you please kindly share a screen recording or screenshots with us? This way, our team can have visual understanding of what might be happening. Thank you for your help.

Hi Thomas - Thank you for your feedback! Please see my reply as below:

Could you please let us know where this issue happens? In My Tasks? Or in a project?

When editing a task from My Tasks and trying to add a tag that already exists in the associated project, the tag is not being recognized (if I proceed anyway, another tag with the same name is created)

The tags for personal tasks (tasks that don't belong to any projects) in My Tasks will not be shared across different projects. On the other hand, the tags that were set as global in a project will not show up in personal tasks either.

Hi Peggy,

This seems to a) happen in My Tasks and b) be limited to global tags (i.e. the ones defined at the level of a workspace) - in line with the last part of your explanation.

Kind regards, Thomas
