Hi, I would greatly welcome if tasks would have an option which would send/reassign a task from assignee to the creator of the task upon task completion by the assignee. This should serve a purpose of validating and approving task outputs before a task can be completed/closed. For example, when a manager assigns a task to a team member, the manager might want to see the task outcome before he agrees that the task was completed. Can this be achieved using current functionality? Or is something of this kind in plans for future development? Thanks
Marian
Hi Marian - Thank you for your feedback. Currently, this feature is not available in Quire. However, we will bring this suggestion to our team for more discussion internally. We will keep you posted if we have any updates.
p.s. We have slightly edited the title of this thread, so other users can find this thread more easily and join the discussion. We hope that you don't mind.

Hi,
This would actually be very beneficial. This functionality would be very much needed.
Thanks

Hi all, this feature can now be done by customizing the permission role.
You can set the permission for the member to "not allowed to complete tasks" first. Then create an extra status with 100% called "Approved" and another status called "Requesting approval" in your project.
This way, the member can only changed the status of the tasks to "Requesting approval", and only the manager (the member with the permission to complete tasks) can set the tasks to "Approved".
I hope this helps. Let us know if there are any questions!
