Hi there,

First of all, you guys rock! This tool is incredible. Thank you for it!

I'm writing today because:

I like to sort by tags, but when changing a tag in this view, it doesn't update until refresh (it doesn't re-sort).

I was wondering if you could add a trigger that refreshes the sorting when tags are changed, so a manual refresh isn't necessary to correctly sort by tag after changing them.

Hi @Jgarza,

When tasks are grouped by tag and someone updates them, the project page does not automatically refresh. This is designed to prevent the page from unexpectedly shifting or jumping while you are viewing or working on it.

Instead, a refresh button will appear to notify you of new updates. You can click the button to refresh the project, or press R on your keyboard to quickly refresh the page. Thank you.

Auto refresh is necessary for management. Let's say I have employees out in the field updating tasks via their phones and I am just monitoring the list ... I can't constantly refresh the page all day long. It should just update automatically. At the very least you should add as an optiom.

Hi Tyler - Thank you for your support! The reason why the tasks will not automatically refresh is because there would be cases where you will need to make changes to different tasks in one time and it would be frustrating if the tasks jumps to the respective groups each time you make a change. If you think manually clicking on the green refresh button at the filter bar is too cumbersome, you may try hitting the keyboard shortcut r, it might be faster. Hope this helps!

This makes sense on why we wouldn't have a total refresh.

Would you consider just the task being tagged repropagating to the correct list dynamically as opposed to a full refresh?

It would only affect those using tag sorting, who have explicitly indicated they wish for the tag to drive the sorting.
