Hi Amanda - Thank you for reaching out to us. Please help to check the Overview tab of your project. It will show the total task numbers that you have right now in your project.
Also, some completed tasks might be hidden from the List after they have been completed for a while. You can unhide them and delete them to clear up more space for new tasks. Choose None in the filter menu.
