#5054: Quire Feedback
Status: Completed
Tag: Mobile App Enhancements Resolved

I love the current 'Quire' widget on Android that allows me to quickly add tasks to my projects.

However, I would like to quickly access different projects like shopping list, ideas, or new people's names as I am walking around with my mobile device. I would love to see a 'Quick Add' widget that saves the specific project to that button. I am doing some graphic design, so I designed an idea of how that widget would look. I have attached it.

To clarify, I wouldn't want to replace the widget, I would like an additional widget.

Hi Hunter - Thank you for your suggestion and design. I have gone ahead and passed it to our Mobile and Product team for more discussion.

Right now, Android devices allow users to add more than one of the same widget to their Android home page. We are thinking that if the Quire's widget can remember the Quire project you have set last time, then this problem is solved.

Anyway, I will keep you posted if the team have any updates regarding this.

@peggy thank you so much! It works perfectly! Again you all are the best!

@peggy Thanks for passing it on. That could work. However, wouldn't be confusing for us to remember the state of each widget without a label on it?

@yeskindofday Yes, that might be confusing. I will point that out to our team. Thanks!

Hi Hunter - In the latest version update, you can long-press the Quire app to activate the More Options menu. You will then find the Add Tasks options for different projects. Drag one of them to the Home Screen so it can become a widget for adding tasks to that specific project. Hope this helps.
